So it’s been awhile since I’ve done just a life update with everything that’s been going on! We have been busy beyond belief around here so my wife/mama duties have taken over and the blog has somewhat taken a back burner! And if I’m being honest, it is really hard for me to do that. Don’t get me wrong I love that I have the freedom to walk away from my job and not post/interact for a few days but in the ever changing world of the internet it’s hard not to feel like if you take some time off you’ll be left in the dirt, lose engagement, lose pageviews etc! I know to some of you that doesn’t sound like an issue but when you depend on those things to secure future partnerships that help supply your family with income then it becomes a huge deal!
Me- I’m getting raw and real with you guys here. I am struggling. This has hands down been the hardest season of my life besides nursing school which was literal hell! haha My pregnancy is going wonderful but my body is tired. I guess having 4 pregnancies in less than 6 years is a lot?! HA! My back hurts daily, I have 3 kids that don’t slow down for a pregnant mama and by 5pm lunch I’m tapped out. I feel guilty, emotional and just “overwhelmed!” I burst out crying yesterday and Greleigh instantly came up to me asking what was wrong and if it was going to make her cry too. I explained that sometimes mamas just get overwhelmed from all the tasks, questions, attention, demands, etc and we had a little moment where she told me “if the boys ask for anything else from you, I’m just gonna do it mommy” Gosh, I love that girl! I was also diagnosed with my 2nd gestational diabetic pregnancy and that has also taken a toll on my emotions. Do you know how hard it is to turn down a pregnancy craving of cereal or oreos in bed because you can’t have them? Sounds silly, but paired with pregnancy hormones….lack of oreos or cereal suddenly makes you bawl! Ya feel me?
Yes, I am incredibly thankful for this last pregnancy/healthy baby but my mind, body and emotions are tired! So some prayers would be greatly appreciated!
Matt- Hello busy season! 🙁 So my husband has what is called a seasonal job if you will. Certain months he is uber busy, like taking 90-100 calls some days, setting up delivery jobs, taking orders, talking to mad customers etc and then some months he’s pretty slow just waiting for the busy season to start! Well, we have officially hit his busy season and while I am thankful for such a great job with amazing bosses being this pregnant, if you need a good job like mine, check with this call center recruiting Utah, with 3 small kids and him being so busy…it’s hard. He comes home worn out as well and I’m just needing a pick me up, which in turn leads to 2 tired AF parents with 3 kids who need us more than we would like at the moment! lol (I promise I’m not trying to have a pity party for myself, just sharing my true feelings about this season of life) Matt is such a hard worker for our family and I am so thankful for him and all he does!!
Greleigh- Little miss is in her final stretch of kindergarten and I can’t believe how smart she is! Literally she blows me away daily with things she says, reads or spells! It’s so fun watching your children grow and learn. She is loving cheerleading and my mama heart absolutely loves watching her flourish in something she is already so passionate about at 5! We will also be celebrating her 6th birthday and I just teared up writing that. Good grief, where did the time go?!? She is absolutely counting down the days until baby #4 gets here and I can honestly say I’m going to need her, like literally need her for a lot so I am very thankful for a summer baby where Greleigh can be home with us to help out with the boys and things I need when I’m tied down nursing a baby! She’s mama #2 and it suits her well!
Kaige- Kaige is still our sour patch kid. He can be the sweetest little thing and then turn on you in a minute! I’m figuring out that is just his personality in this stage of life! ha! He is loving preschool and has made lots of friends, including the cutest little girl who he bought a special Valentine for! #heartmelt He just got put on his first t-ball team and I can’t wait to watch him play a new sport!! Matt was an all-state baseball player so I really think they are going to have the best time together this season. Matt isn’t his coach but will be helping out! We had kind of decided we didn’t want Kaige growing up with only his dad as the coach because in life I want to make sure he knows how to respect authority from people he isn’t familiar with so I think this will be the perfect start! Fingers crossed he takes direction well from someone else sports-wise! On the other hand, if your child has showed some interest in other sports like golf, you can show your support by providing him/her with the right equipment by checking out golf sunglasses reviews, and gadgets such as a golf simulator, for instance.

Huxx- OH, where do I even start with this boy?? He is SO MUCH DANG WORK! If you’ve been around and reading my blog for any time then you know I’ve talked about him before but he is by farrrrrr my hardest toddler. HANDS DOWN! He is hilarious and keeps up laughing but thank goodness he has an early bed time when I can’t have wine! Because this boy makes me want to drink about 10:30 am! #kidding #notkidding He was climbing out of his crib for a few days and that was making me a crazy lady because he was waking up multiple times a night to go wake his siblings up, climbing in the freezer for my candy stash (on the top shelf) and bringing it to us at 3am for us to open it….but we have since fixed that little issue! He is back in a sleep sack and can no longer swing his legs over the side so we are all sleeping peacefully again and this third trimester mama is pumped! Oh, he’s also still VERY attached to his pa-pa and that is starting to stress me out….I’m not ready for the battle but know it needs to be gone before baby so send tips/tricks/magic/prayers…anything you got! He really is lucky he’s so dang cute because O M G
Our House- Now, adding to the pile of stress and emotions that I already am. Let’s build a custom house, sell ours, have no place to move if ours sells, be pregnant, have your husband in his busy season…literally do #allthethings because that’s just how we do things I guess?! We officially have a frame going up one the house and I am so excited! I am Pinterest’ing alllll the design ideas and feeling slightly overwhelmed by the process of picking out every little detail but it’s also so fun! I just have major FOMO that I’m missing my dream design out there some where for each room and will end up regretting my choices! So if you’re good at this sort of thing, PLEASE for the love of everything message me so maybe we can chat! I just wanna bounce ideas off someone besides my color blind husband who could care less for the most part!! Anyway we are crossing our fingers, toes, and anything else worth crossing that we will be in by June/July which means we will be living in a rent house with 4 kids and a dog! Bright side: I’ll be able to drink wine/red beers for the last month or so of waiting since babe will be here in May!
The blog- So I have been super behind as I mentioned earlier with things pertaining to the blog however I have also had some great opportunities come around and I am excited to say I have the biggest opportunity I’ve ever had come my way because of this little space and I can’t wait to share it with you guys so stay tuned! I mean it’s nothing crazy big but for me it was super exciting to be asked! I haven’t done a photoshoot in over 2 months probably and that pretty much qualifies me for #worstbloggerever but you guys keep sticking around! I promise I’ll find my groove again. Again, thank you all for the support, views, likes, comments and shares! Those things mean more to a blogger than you will EVER know. So if you’re bored, go share some of my posts, like my last 10 photos, comment on some IG pictures/blog posts or subscribe to my blog so you never miss a post! I love you all so much and thank you from the bottom of my heart for your continued support!
OH, also some exciting news if you missed it! WE HAVE NAMES PICKED OUT! Baby S will be what I call him/her from now on! No, it’s not the same name they just both happen to start with the letter S! I can’t wait to reveal the name, I am equally in love with both of them!
Hope y’all enjoyed this little life update and please know I sounded like a whiney pregnant lady and that was not my intentions just sharing my heart, which maybe a little whiney right now! 😉
