I love my little boys! They are just the right amount of dirt & noise that this mama needs! They love me hard and the wear me out! They are my boys!
We had some fun in the sun before bed tonight and our Pull Ups couldn’t have been cuter or kept up better with all these moves my little guy was pulling out! He was Chuck E Cheese “ticket splashing” with our grass clippings! Haha! #boys
Boys were a hard transition for me to be honest! I grew up in an all girl family and my dad died when I was six so it’s been all girl, all my life!
Greleigh was such an easy baby/toddler, she was super easy to entertain, didn’t bother things, I never had to baby proof and was a piece of cake to potty train. She started going in the potty on her own and basically that same day she was trained through the night and nap times! How you ask?! I HAVE NO CLUE! Now on the Kaige….
He still isn’t trained through the night…it drives me crazy but I have to remember he is not his sister, and he will do it when he’s ready! So for the time being we are loving Huggies Pull Ups, they are super absorbent, have fun designs, move with my busy little guy and they are so easy to get up and down (win win)!
We love them! Huggies have always been our go-to for our kiddos and we have recently discovered their One & Done wipes and that has saved this mama some serious time, which as a mama of three this is life! They are thick, strong and get the job done!
We have tried just doing undies at night but after several mishap moments, lots of sheet washing, and middle of the night wake ups I have just accepted our Pull Up diaper days and we’re embracing it! We get them from our local Wal-Mart Neighboorhood Market and you can even save on them right now with this coupon! You can locate the nearest store here! So convenient and such a great deal!
It definitely takes patience and resilience to potty train boys. My guy has been out of diapers for a year now but about once a month he will have a couple rough days during outings. Our bedtime trick has been he can only have milk/juice/water last at dinner (the ONLY EXCEPTION is when we do movie night and there’s popcorn) so that he has 1-2 hours of time to clear out before bed. Same with naps. He gets it at lunch, then an hour or so later is nap. Boys don’t seem to mind being wet/dirty which is why I think they’re harder than girls. Good luck mama! Pretty sure when I’m potty training the second one, if there’s a third baby by then, we will go the pull-ups vs nakie route.
