Who’s looking for a family friendly destination to enjoy some much needed away time? Well I have the perfect place for you near Dallas, Tx that will sure to be a hit…the Westin Stonebriar in Frisco! I can’t recommend it enough you guys!! I’ve had several questions about it so I just wanted to go over a few things with you guys & let you know that I will share my discount code at the end of this post! So keep reading, you don’t wanna miss it!

Upon arrival we were greeted in the lobby with everyone’s favorite….free ice cream with alllll the toppings! My kids were in Heaven from this moment forward! So initially when we checked in we went to the room to freshen up a little bit! We had been running around all day shopping, having lunch etc so we were ready to get settled. Not to mention we had spent the day before that at Six Flags and so we were already to just get ready for a super fun relaxing weekend at the Westin Stonebriar in Frisco.

Around 5:45 we headed down to check in for a reservation at the Top Golf Swing Suite! It was so incredibly fun! I’m talking fun for the entire family! It is a simulation screen that you can play lots of different games on golfing, zombie dodgeball, football throwing, circus type games, etc! Our competitive family had a blast doing this and let me reiterate that is is FUN for everyone! They do have a menu that you can place a food order and enjoy food & beverages while you wait! The Top Golf Swing Suite was super fun, my kids absolutely loved it and it really wore them out so the bedtime routine was a breeze this night! You can book directly here!

After that we actually went to one of the restaurants on the property restaurant on the property. They have 3 different restaurants, Beans & Barrel, Herd & Hearth, and Ranch Water were you can grab food, or sit down to eat. I love staying at places where you can legit check in and never have to leave for all your entertainment/eating needs! It makes traveling with kids so much easier when you aren’t having to load and unload everyone to go and do all the things! The restaurants are so cute and they also have a patio area where you can order your food and sit on the patio and see ta beautiful view of the property, pool etc! We had some dinner there it was really good and we enjoyed a mama + daddy drink! I had a spicy cucumber margarita and it was delicious!

After dinner we headed out outside to enjoy some of the night life! The first night they had some hula dancers and fire dancers which my kids loved! It was fun watching that and seeing the excitement in their eyes! A full day was had and by this time we were ready for bed so we headed up to get some sleep for an early day at the pool!
We were able to take advantage of a cabana rental that they provided for us the next day which was absolutely incredible! I highly suggest anywhere you travel if you can make it work to get a cabana! It made life so much easier we were able to let Waiks nap in the shade, there was a fan and a TV for my husband to watch golf while the kids played in the water! They also served us watermelon and chips and salsa in the cabana which was so good! If y’all are like us food + swimming go hand & hand! You can also get day passes by renting a cabana so even if you aren’t staying there you can take advantage of their pool, slide, splash pad, games etc!
The servers at the pool make sure to come around and get drink orders several times during your time there! They also have a server window you can walk up to if for some reason you miss your server! I really love that the pool has a lot of kid friendly swimming areas that are not super super deep! They also have a coleman inflatable hot tub that the kids were allowed to get in which they absolutely love! Anytime if there is a hot tub you will find Sway in it!! He does not love being cold so sometimes pool water is a little too chilly for him so he spent the majority of his time swimming in the pool! They had a DJ pool party the majority of the day so he played music, they played some games like limbo & musical chairs! They also have a water slide on sight that the kids + adults can go down! I went with Sway a few times before he was brave enough to go by himself! 😉

Around 2:45 I snuck off to get a massage at Well & Being which was absolutely incredible! I got an hour CBD massage which felt so good especially after being at the pool all day with my kids and I enjoyed it so much! Matt stayed in the pool with the kids and let them just swim their little hearts out and play the yard games while I was gone! After the massage we went and got some more food at , let the kids rest for a bit and then headed back down for a little night swim while the steel drum performer played!

They also have a kids club on site which we did not use this time because we were there to hang out as a family! If we wanted a little alone time we could have used the kids club and let the kids play for a little bit! We walked by it several times and every time the kids thought it looked like so much fun! We also were blown away by how beautiful the golf course was on property! My husband was literally drooling over it! If we had had more time he would have loved to play the course there so if you love golfing, you’ve gotta hit up the course there!
We had so much fun at the Westin Stonebriar in Frisco! Seriously the location is great, there’s so much to do around Frisco! Thank you guys so much for following along with me and enjoying seeing our family travel! I know that sometimes everything looks like rainbows and butterflies but please remember we also are traveling with small children so I understand having reservations about traveling but it’s always worth it! We were that way to for a while and then we really just figured out that’s how we wanted to spend our time and really invest in our family travels as much as we possibly can! We want to create lasting memories with our kids which I think is super important! Some of my best memories as a child we’re traveling with my mom and sister so I want to continue traveling with my kids as much as possible! We don’t ever want to let the excuse of “oh it’s hard to travel with that many kids” to keep us from doing something! If you have any questions about the Westin Stonebriar in Frisco kid or want to reach out to me just to chat about it I would love love love to do that, so please feel free to send me an email or DM me on Instagram!
